Horgan Homes is celebrating after being named Best Premium Homebuilder for the Midlands region in the 2023 Design and Build Awards.
The title is the latest award win for the Dudley-based company which prides itself on developing luxury homes in some of central England’s most sought-after locations.
Horgan Homes director Sophie Horgan said: “I’m delighted the judges have recognised the expertise and care that we put into every single home we build, and it is great recognition for the hard-working and talented team we have at Horgan Homes.
“Awards like this confirm we are getting it right with our approach and unwavering commitment to quality in everything we do.
“We are firmly embedded into the Midlands community, and it is great to be recognised for the contribution we are making to the area in which we live and work.”
The Design and Build Awards are organised by BUILD Magazine to showcase the best businesses, individuals and projects in construction.
A BUILD Magazine spokesperson said: “The Design & Build Awards help us celebrate and highlight companies and professionals involved in design and build, from architecture and planning firms, to construction, build and maintenance companies, those who are continually innovating and making impactful moves to be the leaders in their field.
“This award is judged against multiple relevant criteria, including company performance over a given period of time, expertise within the industry, sector or region, previous accolades won, and client testimonials or recommendations.”
Horgan Homes has developed an unmatchable reputation for high quality, distinctive homes which blend traditional construction methods with cutting edge technologies to create the sustainable and energy efficient homes of the future.
The business was created by Sophie’s father John and continues to be family owned and run, with Sophie joining as a director in 2006 and now handling the day to day running of the company.
Horgan Homes is no stranger to awards success. In the What House? Awards in 2020, the firm claimed silver in the best small housebuilder category and the Manor Gardens show home in Clent, Worcestershire, was awarded bronze in the best luxury house section.
The firm also scooped two five-star awards in the International Property Awards, which celebrate the crème de la crème of property developments, architecture and interiors.
Just two of the four-bedroom detached houses are still available to buy in the first phase of Manor Gardens, while phase two includes four stunning, bespoke, single-storey homes which are now on the market for £1.4 million. They offer the highest quality fittings, coupled with contemporary design and Horgan’s traditional eye for detail.
Other developments around Worcestershire and the West Midlands have quickly sold out, but the company will soon be heading further afield to launch a development of 30 high-specification, energy efficient homes in the peaceful setting of Mareham Le Fen in Lincolnshire.
BUILD magazine is the only globally focused free-to-subscribe construction magazine circulated each quarter to more than 96,000 industry experts based in architecture, design, build, construction and related services.
